2 wins on the bounce for Wythenshawe CC U13s!

Winning run continues for U13s v WRCC

A great 8 wicket victory for our U13s vs Whalley Range U13s Eagles here at Longley Lane & their 2nd SMJCL win on the bounce, 2 out of 2 so far this season for coach Patel & the squad.
WRCC batted 1st 120/3 off 20, wickets for Sam O’Connor clean bowled, Fred Caldwell with a brilliant caught & bowled & a quick fire run out for Zach Bolton, off Albert Caldwell’s bowling.
Wythenshawe in reply, scoring 124/2 off 19.5! So taking it right to the last over (very tense!!)
Fred Caldwell with a fantastic 33 retired not out, Bobby Braisdell also retired not out with 30 off just 22 balls.
Capt Oliver Roddy (21 not out) & Zach Bolton (11 not out) finally saw Wythenshawe over the line securing a great last over victory by 8 wickets.
Hard luck to WRCC, definitely a great game for 2 evenly matched teams, playing in the spirit of the game.
Two wins in two….keep up the great cricket U13s!
