Wythenshawe CC Willows (Girls) played here at home vs Sale Badgers Tues 15th June on a lovely evening to play cricket, Sale Badgers elected to bat, superb batting performance was on display with some excellent boundaries. A surge in late wickets from Willows with great catches from Millie helped to hold Sale at an impressive 321 for 4. Willows determined as ever, made a great start Emily with 19 runs, Daisy 18 runs & Ruby 15 runs with some great boundary shots. Our best team performance yet and highest score of 261 for 9.
Girl of the match Emily Millington and well done to everyone. Many thanks for our parents support, Richard for scoring plus Mark & Jo for the photos - Thank you Jeannie (Willows Coach)
