Wizards in a brave fight back just missed out by 17 runs - well done SW
Cracking little match on Thurs 10th July for Wythenshawe CC Wizard’s U9’s vs our friends from SW Mcr U9’s.
SW batting first (pairs cricket 16 overs per side, 200 runs start) finished on 290/9 net, 3 wickets for Zayn Jan.
Wizards missed out by just 17 runs, but not without a stand out batting performance from Rory Evans scoring 26 runs.
A really good fight back from our youngest aged cricket team but overs running out to give our visitors the win.
Well done to SW Mcr U9’s.
Wythenshawe finished 273/5 net.
